Write an application to the headmaster of your school requesting him to open an English language club in the school.

To,
The Headmaster
Ratanpur High School
Jamalpur

Subject: prayer for openinig an English language club.

Sir,
I have the honour to draw your kind attention to the fact that English being the global language has become very essential in all walks of our life. English is widely spoken all over the world. When people of two different languages meet or need to communicate, they resort to a third language for mutual communication and understanding. English, for its widespread use and acceptance, plays the role of the common language. Moreover, English is essential for getting a good job and better salaries. Multinational business organizations and many international corporations ask for people who have good working knowledge of English. So,in an order to get a good opening in the job market a person should be skilled both in written and spoken English. In this regard it may be noted that our students are very weak in conversational English. An English language club can help develop the conversational skill of the students.
In the circumstances, I would request you to set up an English Language club in our school and fulfill our long cherished dream.

Yours obediently,
Sultan Jaman
On behalf of the students of Ratanpur High School.

Write aletter to your friend telling him/her what you intend to do after the S. S. C examination.

25/E Dhanmondi
Dhaka
14 march 2014

My dear Asif,

I am very happy to received your letter of the 4th instant. From the letter I have  come to know that you wanted to know what I intend to do after the S. S. C examination. You know ours is an over populated country. Again most of the people are illiterate. They do not know how to read and write. They have no knowledge about education, health, family planning and the scientific method of cultivation. But education is the backbone of a nation. No nation can advance and progress without education. Ignorance is similar to darkness.

The people of my village are far away from the light of education which is the prerequisite of the advancement of a nation. So I have a firm decision that I would spend my time  in teaching them about the necessity of good health, family planning and the scientific method of cultivation. If the villagers are properly taught about these essential things, I think they would able to lead a healthy life.

Yours ever,
Zaman
